If someone were to ask me, why I did this painting. I would not have an answer, for I sometimes tend to forget why I do things. Maybe it was an Earthquake? Who knows. All I know is that it came out like a very interesting landscape picture. Lots of flora protrudes from the opening (crack) on the substrate, as well as into the distance, away from the feature. Leaving many more questions than answers. What is the meaning of the crack? Why is there a huge monolithic boulder?
