Arizona and Utah have some of the most beautiful rock formations ever to lace our beautiful planet. Yet, the range of strong red hues emitted from the rock formations in Arizona, are without a doubt some of the most gorgeous color works by mother nature's artistic hand. Here, in this painting, I try to capture the essence of these formations, as well as the the brightness of their color variations. For contrast, I've added some cactus in the forefront, as well as to allow us some depth of view into the landscape.
