Way back in 2005, we were having a rather long conversation about how we recognize people. Finally, came to the conclusion that there are two things that we always look at in order to determine how people look, and that's the eyes and the mouth, they're the most expressive of all. So, I decided to do it this way, I call it 'Faces Without Faces'. And each one is different, each one has their own different personalities, including one with his tongue sticking out making fun of everyone. I finished this in 2005, it's 35 x 28, oil on canvas. This is a Giclée, the original was sold, but this is the same size.

Two Paintings, One Sketchbook Sheet

This artwork has only one known sketch to reference, and on that sketch there happens to be another painting for reference, that being 'Almost Home'. Both paintings were completed in 2005.
